About the show

The Daily Earworm. One real news story a day, sung back to you as a thirty-second television bulletin. Desmond Crane reads the news from the studio; a different reporter braves the field every night.

Every word sung is true and taken from that day's reporting. Everything you see and hear is made with AI, and we say so on every episode. New episode every evening.

Where the news comes from

Each episode links to the report it was sung from, on its own page and under the video. Nothing is invented: if it is sung, it is in the article. We pick the story of the day that is odd, true and kind: a contest, a record, a dog on a roof. We do not sing stories with a victim, and we stay away from politics, court cases and anyone's misfortune.

Who you are watching

Desmond Crane and every reporter are invented. No real person is ever shown, and the people in the news are not drawn or impersonated. The studio, the field and the music are all made for the show.
